Exactly 100 years ago, November 24th, 1912 an Angel on Earth was born. Her name was Rosa Morton, my beloved great-grandmother who's now in Heaven. We called her 'Mama'. Mama was a second Mom to my siblings and I. She was filled with a Spirit of excellence, a third grade education with a Ph.D. in wisdom, life-skills and love.
What I would do to get another hug and kiss from Mama. What I would do to hear her voice, her laugh, her clap, her sing and her pray to the Lord Jesus Christ who she loved so deeply. Mama taught me who my God was and is, along with my parents. She instilled in me an unwavering foundation, a rock that can't be moved. Materialistic possessions can be taken but what I possess on the inside is greater than what's in the World.
I thank my great-grandmother a million times over for the love she gave me. Angels on earth like her are far and few. I'm grateful that the 83 years she was on God's earth, was a blessing. Thank you Mama for leaving a legacy of spiritual truth. Thank you for being an Angel on Earth. Happy Birthday Mama! Have fun celebrating in Heaven. My Angel on Earth is now above.
